Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. Growing up she was influenced by classical music, boleros and the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of tangos and opera, and the dramatic shows that she attends. After singing with her mom and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16, under the direction of renown Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. When she was a student, and a young professional, she was a part of numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects because of her love and passion for music. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her love and passion of old-fashioned Latin American songs with others as she hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations in order to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
