Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish flamenco and pop artist. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the fringes of pop and traditional music. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the sound of this young artist as sweet and sharp but with bite. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami the third album by her was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The release date was March 20, 2022, after the show of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia performed solo on the show for the very first time ever on the show. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded an award for the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
